Miranda: Nerys Evans (2009), Emma Strain (2010-2013), Sarah Fraser (2014-2015)
What audience are they aimed at? Why?
Miranda: 27-40 this is because they aim it at people around Miranda’s age.
Bad education: 14-30 this is because it is at a high school and the target audience will be able to relate to it.
Why are they on at that time and on that channel? Link to 'type' of comedy and target audience.
Miranda: it appeals to some of the younger audience which means it can be before watershed. But there is not much bad language so there can be a younger target audience.
Bad education: it is on later as there is bad language and racism in the episodes. Therefore some children are not allowed to watch it as it is not suitable for them.
Are they on after the watershed? Why?
Miranda: this is on before watershed.
Bad education: this is on after watershed.

The IT Crowd

The IT crowd is a comedy.
All the characters are stereotypical.
It is about everyday life at work.
It is set in a crowded office with people working.
The boss is all about teamwork.
Each character is told which office to go to.
In the background there is canned laughter. this shows that it is meant to be a comedy.
None likes the IT crowd they do not get along with them as they thing they are nerds.
The basement is where the IT crowd work and it is all messy.
They do not have a certain uniform as they are all scruffy.
